Students spent two weeks learning about printmaking. We watched several YouTube videos about printmaking to understand the different kinds. Students were told they would be creating a relief print with a partner. One partner was required to create a design with curved lines, and the other partner had to create a design with straight lines. Both partners started with a sketch and traced it. The traced drawing was then put face down on a piece of printmaking foam. Last, students used carving tools to flatten the background of the foam to make the design seem raised.
Everyone's design was amazing and beautiful. Great job!!! I am very proud of you!!

1.This one was my favorite because I enjoyed making them and had so much fun with it.Also I thought it was cool.
2.Um maybe getting more colors even through I loved the colors maybe more.Also maybe letting 3 or more people combine theirs.
This was my least favorite project because I felt that I needed more time to work and during the carving part I thought I was doing it wrong. My suggestion to Mrs. B would be to please give more time for the project.
this was my least favorite project because i didnt really think it was fun and we only got 2 colors to paint. To improve this project, i think, we should get like 2-3 more colors.

I liked this activity because you got to make your own pattern then combine it with another students pattern.I think Mrs.B should let us be able to mix colors then combine our patterns together.
This project was my favorite because we got to work in partners and we got to mix our work together. The Printmaking looked very cool when you got the final product. Maybe we could get a couple more colors, but the colors you had were the ones I was goin to use anyways. If we could combine 2 to 4 peoples projects i think it would be funner. This was my favorite project by a long shot and im sure everyone liked it.
1.i really enjoyed doing this assignment! it was fun to come up with a random design!putting together eachothers designs is really cool,i loved seeing how each one turned out.
2.i think it would have been nice if maybe more than 2 people could combine their designs and see what turns out!
1)this project was my least favorite because i had to carve a foam plate and the tool went through the pplate.
2)This project could be inproved by getting a different meterial to carve the pattern into.
it wasn't my favorite but i had fun. it was cool that we got to put designs together it made it turn out even better. i think if we used wood that it would look better. more details needed to be added though
