Paper Shoes

This has to be one of my all-time favorite projects! Functional paper shoes! Students spent two weeks creating a pair of shoes out of bristol board and white glue. All of them look amazing. I'm so proud!!

I like this project because the thinking of how can i make the shoes work.

I would change where my straps are by leaving only the
middle strap.

SaSt1 said...

Yes, I did like the project, because it was fun and very creative.

One thing I would change about my shoes is the lack of coloring and the type of straps I used.

I enjoyed the project, because it was different and unusual. I had a lot of fun while making my shoes. If I could change one thing about my shoes, I would color them a little more. I didn't have a whole lot of color and they were really plain. I think they would have been more interesting if they had more color.

I liked this project, because it was a challenge that at first I wasn't sure I could do. At the end of the project, I was amazed that I was able to overcome the challenge. If I could change something about my shoe, I would like to have colored it. I think that it would've been beter if I colored it.

I liked this project, because I got to be creative. The end of the project was cool, because students got to see if the shoes could actually hold them up. If I could change one thing about my project, I would make the shoes more colorful.

1: I did enjoy this project, because I loved being able to design a shoe even if it was made of paper.
2:I would change my bottom design, would be a little more organized, would add more glue(so I don't end up with a mouth),and would add some color.

I really didn't like the project, because I couldn't figure out what kind of shoe I wanted to do. I never had fun making them, Also, I just didn't have interest in the project while I was creating them. However, if I could go back in time, I would probably have never decided to do a heal shoe in the first place. I also would have tried to make my shoes a little sturdier.

I personally didn't like the shoe project. I thought that it was a long project, and it wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. It was kind of hard for me. I would like to have colored my shoes. I think that everyone elses looked a little better, because they had color. Mine looked boring.

Yes, I enjoyed this project. It helped me get all my anguish out of my heart. If there was anything I could change, I would change my straps.

I enjoyed the project very much. I liked this project, because it was fun and creative. Also, it was a challenge.

If I could go back and change somthing, it would be making my left shoe strap better, becaues it snapped on the day we tuerned it in.

I enjoyed this project, because it was very creative and challenging.
I also liked it, because everyone got to do their own design.

If I could change anything about my project, I would add color.

I did enjoy this project, because I had ALOT of fun making my shoes. If I were to change my shoes, I would make the staps bigger and give it more design.

Yes, I did enjoy the project, because I liked making the bottom and making shoes out of paper and glue!!!
I would change the color and make them into flip-flops.

CaTa2 said...

Yes, I enjoyed this project, because it was fun and not too hard but not too easy. If I could, I would change that I actully turned them in. I would also change the color.

I enjoyed the project, because I never made shoes out of paper and Elmer's glue before. I thought it was fun. If I had to change my shoes, I probaly would color the whole shoe blue.

brga2 said...

I liked the paper shoe project, because it was cool that we could make shoes or slides out of paper and Elmers glue. It was something fun to do and better than drawing pictures. I would like it if we could do something like this again. If I could change my shoe, I would make the top a different style, and I would make them match more and make them a little bit longer.

MaVa2 said...

I liked the "PAPER SHOE" project, because we were able to be as creative as we wanted to be. We were able to wear them. Overall, I liked my shoes, but, if I had to change one thing, I would have added color to my straps.

PrGa2 said...

Yes.I liked it because it made me be creative. If I made a mistake, I had to try and think of ways to fix it.
If I could change one thing about my shoes, it would be not to color them with markers, because the marker is very messy and sticks to your feet.

GaBo2 said...

Yes, it was very fun and creative. I would change the color of my shoes, because I didn't use any color.

AnHe2 said...

I enjoyed the project we did. It was very exciting. The fun part was I could create any shoe I wanted. If I could change my shoes, I would color them black, put a check on the front, and sell them as Nike shoes.

BrBa2 said...

I liked the ''Paper Shoes'', because it is for walking on carpet. I would keep the color, if it is on a tile floor I would make more paper shapes.

McMo2 said...

I enjoyed doing this project, because I got to create my favorite type of shoes, make my shoes as colorful as possible, and as creative as I it wanted to be.If I could change one thing about my project, I would make it less messy and more organized.

EmRa2 said...

I enjoyed this project, because I could create my own shoe. I got to make them colorful and pretty. I got to make them, and I got to express how I feel about shoes. I would change my neatness and the strap on my shoes.

JuCa2 said...

I liked this project, because it was fun. I got to do whatever design I wanted. It was hard though, because mine were heels. We had to do them out of paper. Next time I'd find a way to glue them better, because I taped my heels on.

AlRu2 said...

I enjoyed this project because it was a hands-on project which I enjoy. I would changed the way the shoelaces were put in my shoe and what I used to color them.

ElMo2 said...

I enjoyed the project alot. It was difficult to decide how the shoe was going to look, because the paper was not the way I expected. It was easy to make the bottom of the shoe, it was also really fun. I would change the stap on my shoe, because it was too wide.

ChGr4 said...

I really enjoyed this project, and it was fun to create your very own shoe out of just paper and Elmer's glue. I really liked being able to color and design my shoe the way that I wanted. If I could change one thing, it would be my straps. I would make them wider so they wouldn't break as easily as the skinny ones.

Yes, I enjoyed the project, because we made shoes that held our weight. I didn't think the shoes would hold my weight. I would make one strap across instead of flip-flops. I would also add more color to my shoes.

RyYo4 said...

I enjoyed the project. I like the project, because I was able to create a shoe that I wanted to create. The only part of my shoes that I would change is my straps. I think my straps were too big on the sandal, and it could have been smaller.

HaWi4 said...

I enjoyed this project, because we got to make a pair of shoes completely out of paper. It was OUR design as well, so that was another thing I liked about it. If I could make any changes to it, I would make the straps more durable. They tore when I tried to walk in them.

SaMe4 said...

I enjoyed this project very much! I liked being able to design my own shoes from my ideas, and I thought it was really cool how the shoes could actually hold us up!
If I were to change anything about my shoes, it would be to add more color and design.

ZaSu-4 said...

I enjoyed the project because I got to get creative, and I can actually wear them. I would change the color on my shoes, and I would've colored the bottom half of the shoes. This project was really fun, and maybe in the future, classes might be able to make shoes instead of flip flops.

JeLa-4 said...

I enjoyed the project very much! I liked being able to create any design that I wanted and any color. I also liked the opportunity to wear my shoes that I created. If I could change one thing about my shoes, I would have colored the straps.

KeHi4 said...

Yes, I had fun, because we made shoes out of paper. We could color it, but the kids did not have to if they didn't want to.
If I wanted to change something, I would have changed the details on the bottom of the shoes.

ChWh4 said...

Yes, I did like doing the project, because I can make any kind of shoes I want. The shoes will take some time for you do do it. When I did the project I could choose any color and the style I wanted. When I walked in them they kind of broke. The back of one shoe broke and the strap broke. I would have changed that straps and the bottom design.

LaMc4 said...

I enjoyed this project, because it was something different that I have never tried before. I could design it however I wanted. Something I would change about my shoe design is my neatness, and the color I used for the flower on my shoes. I would also add more color and patterns on the shoes to make it more appealing and interesting.

AnCr4 said...

I really enjoyed this project because it took alot of thinking. What I thought was hard was making the designs on the bottom to holr you up. If there was anything i would change about my shoes it would be to make them flip-flops.

AlKi6 said...

I enjoyed this project, because we actually made something that was useful--something that you don't have to just look at. If I could change one thing about my shoes, I would make the straps thicker, so they wouldn't rip like they did. :]

auba6 said...

I did enjoy this project. The reason I enjoyed it was because I could be creative at making the bottom of the shoe. I would change the bottom of the shoe and make the design match. It would look cooler.

LaPe6 said...

I did enjoy this project. Making the shoes was an interesting thing to do, and it wasn't as easy as Mrs. Bernstein made it look. I think it would've been easier if we could've used other materials.

I would change the fact that I didn't turn my shoes in, and I would've changed my design for my shoes.

CJFr6 said...

I enjoyed this project, because we had the ability to be very creative. One thing I would change about my shoes is the straps.

AuGu6 said...

Yes, I did enjoy the project. It was fun making all of the shapes and gluing them to the shoe.

The one thing that I would change about my shoes is the color. I would put alot more color into them if I went back and did them over.

I enjoyed this project, because I think it is neat how I can make my own pair of shoes that I can walk in.

I would change my shoes by not drawing swirls at the bottom of my shoes. I would also put more support on my shoes.

JeAl6 said...

I really didnt enjoy this project, because it took too long.

If I could go back in time to do my project again, I wouldn't have lost it, and I would have turned it in.

CoGr6 said...

Yes, I did enjoy this project. It was hard at some points but worth it at the end. I didn't think these shoes would hold my weight, but in the end they did.

If I could change one thing on my shoe it would be how I made the straps. I would have made them thinner and added more color.

JoPe6 said...

This project was fun, because it was 3-D art. The one thing I would change about my project is its color.

This project was really fun. Although I enjoyed it a lot, it was very hard. I enjoyed it, because it was fun but hard. On my shoes I would change the straps, because they broke.

Yes, I enjoyed the project, because I could create a lot of shapes and still make it sturdy.

I would change the heel shape from a circle in a triangle to a thicker circle in a circle.

KiMo7 said...

I like this project, because I got to choose were to put the shapes and how I wanted the shoe to look. If I could change what I have done, I would move the shapes further apart. I would also make the shoe look neater.

DaFe7 said...

No. I did not like this project, because my shoes would't hold my shaps on the bottom. If I could change any thing about my project, it would be to add more color and the foot outline would be the same.

aupo7 said...

Yes, I enjoyed this project, because it was my own idea. It was also fun to see how much weigh the shoes could hold. If I were to change my shoes, I would change how much color it has.

CHGo8 said...

I wish I would have used a square with a triangle inside. I would change the style also.
