Fauvism

My art students' Fauvism paintings look amazing!!

Students spent one class period learning about Henri Matisse and the Fauvism art movement of the early 1900's. Les Fauves is French for wild beasts. Matisse's and his colleagues' works were deemed wild beasts by an art critic that did not understand their expressive use of color. I did not like this painting because it looked fake. It would have been better if we used water colors.

This was my favorite project because you could express yourself with color. You could show the person that is looking at your picture how you feel.2.the suggestions i have for Mrs.B to make this project better is to have more canvas paper for us to have more ideas.

This is my favorite project because It doesn't look real, and I personally like the fact that it doesn't. To make this project a little bit better Mrs. Bernstein should get more colors so we could have a wider variety, and Let us have more options on what to actually paint.

This project was my favorite project because I love the colors that we got to use.I suggest that next time, we use larger pieces of canvas. :]

This was my least favorite project because the paint dryed really fast and it was hard to blend colors. I think it would have been better if we used a different kind of paint.

This is my least favorite because I think it looks sloppy.

This was my least favorite project because it wasn't that interesting and I made a horible painting.Mrs.bernstein could make this better by letting us make a big poster out of everybody's paintings.

This project was not one of my favorites because not many ideas came to mind. To make this project better would be to be able to paint whatever you wanted.

This project was my favorite because we got to express ourselves through color. I suggest next time we use brighter, almost neon colors:]

I did not like this project because we painted everything with different colors. To make it better we could paint different scenes. To make my painting better I could paint a different place.

This was my least favorite because it did not look real. The different colors made it look messy.
What could have made it better was to color what the objects were supposed to have there main color.
